I am a tech junkie. It all started as I watched my brothers play video games as a kid. Soon after I built my own computers, completed my engineering degree, and continued to explore technology learning as I went. Its rapid advancements keeps me intrigued and drives my passions. Recently I added some other obsessions. Photography. Fitness. Food. At Something Burning I share my thoughts of these subjects and find many excuses for exercising these abilities. Sometimes things turn out great. Other times not so much. Is something burning?

I began blogging in 2005 when I was expecting our first set of twins. Since then blogging has become one of my main stress releasers. Through J's World, I share my perspective on our triumphs, failures, successes, struggles, and the like. Parenting not one, but two sets of twins, gives me a lot of fodder. In addition to this parenting voyage, I also write about being a registered nurse, autism advocate, photographer, anthropologist, and crafter, to name just a few of my other interests.
Taylor I am the oldest, beating my twin sister by three minutes. I love creating things, Legos, and Minecraft.
Alivya I am kind and giving. I like to help everyone. I love to read and draw. I am obsessed with Five nights at freddy's and ducks.
Ava I am spunky and usually chatty. I love everything my big brother and sister are into, the color pink and my little pony.
Westli I love things that spin, minecraft, rubix cubes and singing. i like to watch foreign cartoons on you tube kids, and echoing the sounds i hear..
